As an avid reader and lifelong creative writer, my talents shine in longform content. I enjoy journalistic and editorial pieces as well as scripts, creative projects, and everything in-between. I have a knack for maintaining brand voice while still allowing my own creativity to shine through.
THE MILLION DOLLAR VIDEO
In 2023, Women's Bean Project submitted a grant application to the MacKenzie Scott Foundation as a part of the Yield Giving program. The first round of applications required a 90 second video about the organization. With a team of media college students, I produced and directed the application video. Out of thousands and thousands of applications and three rounds of vetting, Women's Bean Project was one of only a couple hundred organizations chosen to receive an unrestricted grant of $1 million.
QUARTERLY NEWSLETTERS
Women's Bean Project releases seasonal newsletters via mail and digital publication. I collect and write copy, design the layout and media, and produce each newsletter. Each mailed newsletter includes a donation ask, so the emotional and narrative impact of each article is essential to program success.
